I don't have a lot of pictures of my dad, but what I do have almost always includes a cigarette. My mom smoked too when I was growing up, but I have few pictures of her with cigarettes. I think there was still a bit of "ladies don't smoke" going on, so when the camera came out, her cigarettes went away.
