1. What time did you get up this morning?

Slept in to 7 am because I didn't go to work, but out to visit stonebender's nephew before he left for boot camp.

2. Diamonds or pearls?

I like stones with color, neither diamonds or pearls catch my eye.

3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema?

I think it was The Dark Knight.

4. What is your favorite TV show?

I have a few soaps I watch (Days of Our Lives and As The World Turns) mostly I watch the Food Network. A few sitcoms like How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang and 30 Rock. And I catch an episode or two of Angel every morning as I get ready for work.

5. What do you usually have for breakfast?

I don't like to eat when I first get up. I often grab something on my way to work. There's several cafes near my job; I'll usually get a breakfast burrito or a cup of granola and coffee.

6. What is your middle name?

Sue

7. What food do you dislike?

I don't care for most curries (yes I know that encompasses MANY types/combinations)and I really don't like rosemary.

8. What is your favorite CD at the moment?

I rarely list to CD's, but O'Brother Where Art Thou is in the player in the bedroom and sometimes on the weekends I'll play some songs from it.

9. What kind of vehicle(s) do you drive?

1997 Dodge Grand Caravan that has been modified for wheelchair access. We also have a Mercury that dbubley's used before she retired.

10. Favorite sandwich?

Which ever one I'm eating! 8-) I like combo sandwiches with lots of stuff.

11. What characteristic do you despise?

Meanness and pettiness. I know it only asked for one, but I think these two often go together.

12. Favorite item of clothing?

I have a few tops I really like, but I don't think of any type of clothing as favorite. Big preference for naked.

13. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go?

If access and $$ weren't an issue, I would go to the small town in central Italy where my grandmother came from. I would also like to go to Russia.

14. Where would you retire to?

Probably right here in the Bay Area. I've never been to Portland, but I think I might like to retire there.

15. What was your most recent memorable birthday?

For my 50th I had two partys, one for my co-workers and one for everyone else. They were both fun. Other birthdays I think of a memorable - my 10th birthday was the first one my mom gave me which was just for me and my friends. Usually my birthdays before and after were a family event. My 25th was the first birthday I spent in California with stonebender. I don't remember exactly what we did.

Feb. 24

19. Morning person or a night person?

Both, if only I could take a "nap" from 4 - 11 pm!

20. What is your shoe size?

10 1/2 or 11 wide in women's

21. Pets?

The currently sick Gilly, wonder dog.

23. What did you want to be when you were little?

A marine biologist - I had gobs of experience with guppies and gold fish. ;-)

24. How are you today?

Sad, worried and tired.

25. What is your favorite flower?

Bird of Paradise and Calla Lilies.

26. What is a day on the calendar you are looking forward to?

Future feels too uncertain - there are no days I'm looking forward to.

27. What are you listening to right now?

Some silly game show on tv - it's background noise.

28. What was the last thing you ate?

TJ's Greek Style Honey Yogurt

29. Do you wish on stars?

It has probably been 30 years since I did so.

30. If you were a crayon, what color would you be?

31. How is the weather right now?

cool with a little breeze

32. Last person you spoke to on the phone?

dbubley when she called to say she thought she's running a fever.

34. Favorite restaurant?

Saigon in downtown Oakland for their lunch specials and noodle soups. Englander Pub in San Leandro, because it's close and it has a decent select of good food.

35. Hair color?

Usually some color of red. I've been dyeing my hair for over 30 years. Underneath it all is a dull brown, but now with grey highlights.

36. What was your favorite toy as a child?

5 cooking pots and a ball. I use to set them up and play along with Bozo the Clown's ball toss. Later, I had an Easy Bake Oven and I loved to make the little cakes.

37. Summer or winter?

Winter because of the rain.

38. Chocolate or Vanilla?

Chocolate.

39. Coffee or tea?

I like both, but tea, esp. iced tea wins out.

40. Do you want your friends to email you back?

Warning Smart Ass Answer Alert: No, I prefer to pontificate into the great internet void.

41. When was the last time you cried?

About 30 minutes ago, as I was thinking of the nephew going into the army and our poor Gilly dog's medical condition.

42. What is under your bed?

A container of (what else) xmas stuff.

43. What did you do last night?

Had "lj user="stonebender"> with me from work. We stopped for sushi and brought some home for dbubley. Then I watched a little tv before we went to bed. Just another exciting poly evening.

44. What are you afraid of?

pain for me and for everyone I love.

45. Salty or sweet?

Salty

46. How many keys on your ring?

I think there are 8.

47. How many years at your current job?

20 months at my current position, but 21 years with the city.

48. Favorite day of the week?

Weirdly, I like Mondays, with Saturdays coming in next.

49. Do you make friends easily?

Casual friends yes, close "can call on them anytime night or day", no.

52. Do you like finding out all this stuff about your friends?
