serenejournal's birthday. Veggies are roasting, table is partially set, soup needs to be mashed, heated and final ingredients thrown in, salmon needs to be cooked, berry dessert needs to be made, clean up the kitchen, clean up me and voila - a dinner party.
Contrary tostonebender's opinion, I really, really do have fun running around, getting stuff ready.
Now if only the sink hadn't backed up.
And I especially wish the birthday girl hadn't fallen and spent hours and hours in the ER last night. She will be doubly pampered today.
