is this the right time to recall the phone call I made to you in 2001 from the middle of Utah or somewhere to ask the names of Magenta and Columbia because Snail-bait (Yeah, that's her LJ ID) and I couldn't remember who was who? and to think, that was only 5 years ago and it was such a novelty to make a long distance phone call on a cell phone then.

okay, and who can recall what it was like to go see the movie when there were no attendees who dressed up or talked back to the screen? my first viewing was in a seedy theater off Market street in 1976, and there was only silence between the syllables "antici" and "pation."
