Update on Lost Wallet

loracsWhen I checked with the store where I lost my wallet they did not have anything then but said to check back just in case. So I called about 5 hours later and it had been turned in! Yeah! This means I have Gilly's picture back and I don't have to do the DMV visit today. I got everything back but the $40 cash. They missed the lucky $2 bill I had folded and stashed in behind my medical card. Of course I have to wait now for the replaced atm card and a couple of credit cards but otherwise it turned out pretty good. I also carry a blank check that I paid $25 to put a stop payment on. So all in all I'm out $65 and a couple of hours. Could have been worst.
Now to get back to my regular life - whatever that it!

dbubley and I decided to just completely cancel 2 or 3 cards that we don't really use. So if this happens again I'll have less cards to worry about - not to mention less credit to be tempted by.
Now to get back to my regular life - whatever that it!
