I'm glad you're enjoying yourself. If it means anything, even those of us who *do* read alt.poly feel like hangers-on a lot at those things. epi_lj just posted about it, and I *always* feel that way at cons, even though I *know* there are people there who are thinking I'm the one who belongs and they don't. People are funny things.
