It's Got Me

The creepy crud has me in its throes.  I have a sore throat, achy ears and a nasty cough.  I don't have to go back to work until next Wed., but I had planned all kinds of things.  Today was suppose to be a trip to the Exploratorium with dbubley and dinner in S.F., possibly with some friends.  We also wanted to go to a museum and a movie or two this week.  Now I just feel like staying in bed, which I've mostly done today.  I'm glad I didn't get sick while in Las Vegas, but still I could really do without this now.  Time to heat up some more water for a cup of instant Miso soup.

Sorry to hear you are sick on your vacation. I have been fighting something for weeks and I am hoping to get over it before my days off but with my luck that is when it will hit full force gawd I hope not! Hope much soup and sleep help you on your road to recovery! Wish I could do something to make you feel better.

Blarggghh. That sucks! I heard rumours about A Crud(tm) going around through various communities I knew, so upon touching down in Vegas, I immediately bought some Airborne and took it for the duration of my stay, just to fend anything off, in addition to the melatonin to make sure I slept. Seems to have worked *so far*. *crossing fingers* However, I heard that hmms_sio has something too, and other people who were there might have also, so maybe that was the point of exchange.

Having spent my last vacation sleeping around the clock (and you were right, I had pneumonia again), I feel for you!!

While I'm not (amazingly) sick right now, today is my flex day and I've slept through half of it. I was at my office working on a project until 2 a.m. So, I will considered today's dazed state "Solidarity with Loracs."
