1. Will you be looking for a new job in 2009?
Maybe, I really hate the job I was forced into in Nov. Need to stay in a CALPers retirement job, so I'll probably stay with the city and hope I can move to another department.
2. Will you be looking for a new relationship?
I've never actively looked.
3. New house?
No
4. What will you do differently in '09?
I'm sure there will be some different stuff, but I can't think of anyone item.
5. New Year's resolution?
Don't make them.
6. What will you not be doing in '09?
I can only hope there will be no time spent in the ER or hospital for me or mine.
7. Any trips planned?
Nope
8. Wedding plans?
Nope.
9. What's on your calendar?
doctor's appointments, birthdays and anniversaries
10. What can't you wait for?
I'm a patient person, I can wait.
11. What would you like to see happen differently?
I'd like to make more time for my friends. I saw one friend the other day and we realized it had been over a year since we'd seen each other.
12. What about yourself will you be changing?
I'd like to change my sleep pattern - get my butt to bed earlier.
13. What happened in '08 that you didn't think would ever happen?
Went to South Lake Tahoe with a group from work.
14. Will you be nicer to the people you care about?
I hope I'm always nice to the people in my life, but if there is room for improvement, then I hope to improve.
15. Will you dress differently this year than you did in '08?
nope
16. Will you start or quit drinking?
nope, I have a drink a few times a year and I don't see that increasing.
17. Will you better your relationship with your family?
I hope I talk more often with my sisters. I would love to visit them, but I don't think that's going to happen.
18. Will you do charity work?
I would if I had the time and esp. the energy.
19. Will you go to bars?
Not unless I'm going to see a show or to a dance, but not just to hang out.
20. Will you be nice to people you don't know?
I try to be.
21. Do you expect 2009 to be a good year for you?
The way I've been feeling lately, no. At best I hope it will be not worst than this last year - esp. the last 6 months.
22. How much did you change from this time last year till now?
I'm a lot sadder.
23. Do you plan on having a child?
No.
24. Will you still be friends with the same people you are friends with now?
I hope so, but I'm afraid I'll drift away from some of my friends from my old job.
26. Will you be moving?
Not unless a series of very bad things happened.
27. What will you make sure doesn't happen in '09 that happened this year?
I wish I had enough control over things to actually answer this one.
28. What are your New Years Eve plans?
quiet night at home with family
29. Will you have someone to kiss at midnight?
two someones - three if you count the new puppy - she's always ready to kiss and be kissed.

Health for everyone esp. for Stacy that she beats her cancer. New puppy gets trained. New job or find someway to like the one I have.

*sigh* I wish you could find a job somewhere else, with enough money to make it not matter about the retirement thing. I mean, I know that's not the way it's likely to go, but I still wish it.
