1. How many hours do you normally sleep at night?
My sleep is very disjointed. I often crash around 9 or 10 pm for a few hours, get up and then don't make it back to bed until 3 am or later. I get up most mornings between 6 am to 7 am.
2. Do you wish you had more time to sleep? Or do you wish that you
slept less?
More time. If I could just get to bed by 11 pm and THEN get up at 6 am I'd feel like I got real sleep.
3. Do you like sleeping?
love it!
4. What is the longest continuous period that you have spent awake? Why
did you do it?
A little over 24 hours. I think that was when
stonebender was in the emergency room a few years ago. 12 of those hours were spent in the hospital.
5. If you were offered the chance to eliminate sleep from your life,
with absolutely no negative physical or psychological side effects, would
you take it? Why or why not? What if this chance was only possible for
you, and not for any of your friends or family, or society at large?
Some days I wish I really could go without sleep. There's never enough hours in the day to get everything done. On the other hand, I would miss dreaming. And maybe I wouldn't get as much done as I think since there would be hours and hours when I couldn't make too much noise and there's only so many 24 hour stores to go to. I guess the answer is no. But I wish that on the sleep I do get I would have "no negative physical or psychological side effects."
Now I must go take a nap - these questions just tuckered me out!
