Did you know we have great classes in the visual arts, including painting, drawing, fused glass, stained glass, glass bead-making, ceramics, sculpture and metals/jewelry making plus yoga and tai chi? Well, ya'll know now. What you probably don't know is we had some weirdness that caused our snail mail brochure to go out very, very late - I received mine last Saturday - Only 10 DAYS BEFORE the quarter starts! Enrollment is low!!!

So, I'm trolling for students. If you, or anyone you know, has been looking for classes like these, check us out. We are the best kept secret in Oakland! If you want to link to this, please do. And if you don't - that's okay, you're still my friend. ;-)

We're located at 1428 Alice St. in the Malonga Casquelourd Center for the Arts (formerly know as The Alice Arts Center) only 4 blocks from 12th St. BART. Free street parking after 6 pm. (daytime is meters or there's a couple of near-by parking lots)

And we have classes for kids (6 and older) after-school 3:30 - 5 pm.

PS: The website is not the easiest to navigate. Here's a quick guide to find us. First page, click on "register on-line" in the upper right corner. At the next page click on "search activities" on the middle left side of screen. On the next page there is a "Location" drop down menu where you scroll down to Studio One. And there we be!
