It rained so hard

Driving home the rain just kept coming and coming. It felt so dangerous. Cars swooshed pass. The ramp door was slightly ajar and this amplified the sound of water, tires, pavement and wind. I wanted to pull over until traffic and rain went away. Take a time out. But I didn't, I continued on towards the pull of home, dry and warmth. It felt so dangerous.

Yeah, I probably should have pulled off and taken the side streets, but then you never know what else could have happened. We make the choice and live with the consequences, huh? I don't know why the rain and speed spooked me so last night, it was beyond the normal caution/fear amount, almost at a paranoid level.

The sun is out at the moment, the van door is fixed and the memory of last night's fears are drying up.

Glad you made it home, dry and with out incidents too.
