Survived Another Xmas Open House

And it was fun, as usual. We even had 3 children in the 8 to 11 age range - just right for appreciating all the decorations. And Baby Fly and family were here too. I'm too tired to write anymore about it right now. Just to say, I'm exhausted and I had great fun. And serenejournal rocks as party helper extraordinaire!

it was great, as always. great people, wonderful food, it was easy to move about and the decor was delightful. each year it changes, which makes it a fun challenge to find old favorites, to see what is new, and most of all to see the wonderful look on your face when you are showing off all your toys.

thank you so much for a great extravaganza. Serene did a great job as well.

I decided not to open the table to it's full length and use smaller bowls for everything. That meant food needed to refilled more often, but then it was also fresher/colder. Of course, without the help of the lovely serenejournal this would have been more of a problem because I get so busy talking to people, I forget the food. But it did make the room a little more spacious with that extra 3 feet.
