Good Things About Yesterday (Tuesday)

It rained! And it's going to rain for the next couple of days.

Our annual xmas gift shopping day was successful. We started and ended our shopping all in one day.

I'm working on getting our xmas cards out. Gilly, the wonder dog, was a great subject as usual, even if she hates me for a little while.

I have a cold (yuck), but it's definitely on the way out.

I walked around the mall for hours and my knee didn't hurt.

I only have two days of work this week. Wed. and Thurs. only, then it's off until Dec. 26.

I have a job interview tomorrow - not really sure if this is a good thing or not. I don't really want the job, but I have to do the interview to get to the job I do want. If you've ever worked in a governmental job, you'll know what I mean.

You inspire me, you know, to have more joy for the holidays. I've been so immune to the spirit this year, but I'm looking for it again. I put up some lights on my balcony, decorated a new wreath, and I'm spending Christmas day with two Jewish friends who are taking me to a Brazilian BBQ place and a movie or two.

I hope your cold is, indeed, fading away. I'm fighting one that has me exhausted, so it's me and a big bottle of diet 7-Up at work today. But I get two weeks off starting Monday, so I have plenty of time to snooze and feel better. :)

I running a little behind on getting my cards out, but yours should be in the mail within 2 or 3 days. I do love the holidays - exhaustion and all. Hang in there - only a few more days until you can claim some rest and relaxation time.
